There's been nothing surprising so far in the election returns. That's surprising.

In the Senate, Manchin seems to be winning more solidly in WV than expected, and Blumenthal in CT is doing a bit worse than one might expect (both have been called for the D's, but less than 40% of the vote is in). Christine O'Donnell goes down in flames melts.

Denver Initiative 300 on the 2010 ballot seeks to establish and fund an “extraterrestrial affairs commission” to ensure our safety in any “potential interactions with extraterrestrial intelligent beings or their vehicles.”

Especially the vehicles. They probably drive on the left, like other fur'ners.

Colorado Independent

Two slight changes to the polling averages from I showed yesterday in West Virginia and Alaska, due to late-night updates by Pollster. No new polls have materialized this morning.

We're pretty much down to five interesting races: Washington, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada and Alaska. The Democrats could pull off a minor miracle in Pennsylvania, but that's probably no more likely than the Republicans pulling off a miracle in West Virginia or California ( Read more... )

Nothing much has changed in the polling averages. A poll finally came out of Washington showing the Republican ahead by 1%, but it was a Rasmussen poll, so that means the Democrat is actually ahead by 1%.
